- Record of Proceedings (Under publication, TM 942980)
- Scope & Content:
-
This fragmentary text ranks among the latest datable bilingual record of proceedings from Egypt. It dates back to the reign of the emperor Phocas. The case brought before the court probably concerned debts. There is a reference to praepositi sacr(-) (sacri cubiculi?). The names Ṭheọdorus Serenus I[u]stụs are certainly part of the polyonymy of the presiding official, who probably held the rank of vir inlustris or gloriosus (ἔνδοξoς). Possible mention of the city of Oxyrhynchus.
