ff. 90r-91v: Book xii. Begins at xii.7 due to loss of leaves. Imperfect due to loss of leaves after f. 90v (xii.10-12) and after f. 91v (xii.16 until the end).

Cistercian monastery of Graiguenamanagh (Duiske): 'Liber sancte Marie de Valle Sancti Saluatoris' (f. 1r).
Various names appear in the margins:
- f. 26v: 'James Leffain shireff', possibly James Laffan of Graystown, who was apparently sheriff of Tipperary during the reign of Elizabeth I.
- ff. 33r, 56v: Hughe Kyndedy.
- ff. 32v, 46v: Derby Syng.
- f. 42r: Hugh Brickdall and Fardinando Caroll. A Hugh Brickdall is named as a burgess in the charter of Ennis, 1612.
- f. 56v: Sowe ni Kynedy (Sadhbh Ni Chinnéidirgh).
John Theyer, English antiquary (b. 1598, d. 1673): his name appears on f. 123r.
King Charles II (b. 1630, d. 1685): purchased this manuscript with the rest of Theyer's manuscripts.
Presented to the British Museum by King George II in 1757 as part of the Old Royal Library.

EPISTLES of S. Gregory the Great: the latter half of a collection resembling 6 C. ii, 6 C. vii, 6 C. x (q.v.), containing books viii-xiv and supplement. Leaves are lost after f. 72 (lib. Xi. 25-27), f. 89 (xi. 56-xii. 6), f. 90 (xii. 10-12), f. 91 (xii. 16-xiii. 4, and f. 92 is torn), f. 105 (xiii. 47-xiv. 2), and at the end (part of the last letter). Beg. 'Gregorius Petro episcopo Chorsice. Susceptis epistolis fraternitatis uestre'. In the margin are several entries (partly verse) in Irish (13th cent.?), ff. i, 8 b, 21 b, 27 b, 33 b. Vellum; ff. 123. 12.1/4 in. x 8.1/2 in. Circ. A. D. 1200. Written in Ireland. Double columns. Gatherings of 8 leaves (i7), numbered at the end. Sec. fol. 'modo turbamur'. Initials in colours, red, green and purple. On f. i Is the inscription, 'Liber sancte Marie de Valle Sancti Saluatoris', of the Cistercian monastery of Graignamanagh, co. Kilkenny (founded in 1212). Many names are scribbled in the MS., including 'James Leffayn shireff' (f. 26 b), H gh Kynedy (ff. 33, 56), Hugh Brickdall, Fardinando Caroll (f. 42), Deurby Syng (f. 46b). The MS. afterwards belonged to John Theyer. Theyer sale-cat. no. 302; CMA. 645I.
