THE SAME WORK AS 9 B VI. Without other additions than the tables of capitula to each book (that to lib. i is probably lost), marginal notes and commonplaces on blank leaves, chiefly in pencil. Vellum; ff. 260. 121/2 in. x 81/2 in. (as mounted, 141/2 in. x 101/2 in.). XIV cent. Much damaged at the beginning by the fire of 1731 and several leaves lost before f. 1 and one after f.2. Sec. fol. lost. Initials flourished in red and blue. Belonged (f. 260 b) to the Blackfriars of London, 'Iste liber est de communitate fratrum predicatorum London, concessus fratri Iohanni Swan eiusdem ordinis tempore sue studencie Oxonie'. Other scribbling gives the name of a Prior, Will. Hulle. Old Royal press-mark (if any) lost. For reference to cat. of 1666 and CMA. see 9 B. VI.
