'LIBER CLEMENTINARVM editus et compilatus per vtriusque iuris doctorem dom. Iohannem de Ymola famosissimum', &c. (so colophon): commentary by Johannes ab Imola (d. 1436) on the Constitutiones Clementinae. Repeatedly printed (see Schulte, Gesch. der Quellen des can. Rechts, ii, p. 298). Beg. 'Abbates (tit. ii): Glossa summat et diuidit'. Colophon, 'Explicit liber (&c. as above) conpletum et finitum per me Rudolphum de Saxonia Capitun. (?) anno mo cccco lxxiio die xxii. decembris. Laus deo'. Another hand adds that it was written at the expense of Thomas Langton, 'iuris pontificii doctor', presumably the Royal chaplain who was afterwards Bishop of Winchester and Archbishop-elect of Canterbury (d. 15O1), see 10 E. III, 17 E. VII. Paper; ff. 295. Folio. 173/4 in. x 113/4 in. A.D. 1472. Gatherings of 10 leaves(x8, xvi8,xxix8, xxx12), with catchwords. Of the watermarks two reappear in 11 E. V, one in 11 E. VII-IX also. Sec. fol. 'pendent tanquam'. Old Royal press-mark 'no. 402,' (Westm. invent. of 1542, Add. MS. 25469, f. 12); cat. of 1666, f. 9 b; omitted in CMA.
