2. 'A memorialle of the names of diuerse and sundry parkes [in England and Wales in the king's hands] made by Sir John Daunce, knight, for the kinges maiestie'; Easter, 29 Hen. VIII [1538]. Latin. The distance of each park from the nearest royal castle or rnanor is given, together with particulars of the condition of the castles, &c. The names of officers are not included. The list ends (f. 27) with parks in the Duchy of Cornwall in the king's hands 'ratione tenere etatis . . . Edwardi principis Anglie et ducis Cornubie'. f. 17.
