(1) 'A Letter concerning the Publick Transactions in the Reign of Q. Elizabeth, containing several Historical Anecdotes and Critical Reflections on Mr. Rapin's History of that Reign' addressed 'To Monsr x x x, Master of Requests' (M. de la Porte, see art. 2), by Etienne de Silhouette; London, 13 Feb. 1736 N.S. The original French version was printed at Amsterdam in 1736. The present translation, according to the endorsement, is by 'Dr. Barclay'. ff. 1-26.
(2) 'An Inquiry into a pretended Conspiracy of the French Ambassador, [Guillaume de L'Aubespine, Baron de Chateauneuf] resident in England to murder Queen Elizabeth' in Jan. 1587. lt is another translation of the same French tract by E. Silhouette (art. 1) addressed to 'Mr. de la Porte, Master of Requests', and it was apparently printed in London in 1741. Two copies, the first imperfect. On the last page (f. 55b) is a cipher. ff. 27-49b, 55b.
(3) List of variants, etc., in the text of the Treaty of Câteau Cambrésis, 1559, as printed in Rymer's Foedera xv, p. 505, and the original MS. Two copies. ff. 57-74. Paper; ff. 74. Folio. XVIII cent.
