Calendar of State Papers of Edward Hyde, Earl of Clarendon, Lord Chancellor (d. 1674), by Birch; to which are added:-(a) copies and extracts from some of the Earl's letters, etc.; 1630-1659. ff. 28-47b;- and (b) copies of letters of Sir Francis Windebank, Secretary of State, to Charles I; 1635-1640. ff. 48-58b. A note (f. 26b) in Birch's hand states that his calendar was taken, 22 Mar. 1756 'at the duchess of Queensbury's' (Catherine, dau. of Henry Hyde, 2nd Earl of Clarendon, wife of Charles, 3rd Duke of Queensberry). The originals are now in the Bodleian Library at Oxford. Paper; ff. 58. Folio. XVIII cent.
