Collections relating to music, mainly in the hand of John Pell, mathematician and diplomatist. Preceded by some notes on logic and geometry also in Pell's hand (ff. 1-13). Includes notes, tables, exercises and papers relating to the studies of John Birchensha on music from a mathematical basis and the 'Musicae Compendium' written in 1618 by René Descartes, as copied by Pell shortly before its publication at Utrecht, 1650.
