A volume illustrative of the duties of a Gentleman of the Royal Household, containing the following articles:-
1. Form of notification of a servant of the Household having taken the oath, together with the oaths of Supremacy and of office. f.2.
2. 'The privileges of his Majesties servants.' f.4.
3. 'The ordour of the kinges chamber, and how a gentleman usher ought to behave him in his tyme of wating'. ff.5-10.
4. 'The ancient ordour of the kinges dyning abroad in State.' ff.11-16.
5. Regulations to be observed by Gentleman Ushers upon the various feasts and festivals during the year. ff. 17-85.
At f. 44 b. is inserted an account of the celebration of St. George's day 1519, by Hen. VIII.
