1. A short treatise on geometry, with diagrams. ff. 2-20.
Begin: — 'A right line is the shortest distance that can be drawne.'
2. A book intitled, 'Of the principles of Geometrie serving for the making of Sonne Dialles, the measuring of things, divers astronomical instruments and for all Architecture,' with a preface and illustrated with diagrams; translated from the Latin work of Sebastian Munster. ff. 21-65.
The preface begins, 'Albeit that Geometrie be properly an arte of measuring the earth.'
The book begins. 'Chapler I. Of Lynes — They defyne a line to be a longitude or length without breadth.'
Printed in Latin under the title of 'Rudimenta Mathematica.' fol. Basil, 1551. p. 1.
3. 'The seconde booke of Oruntius Fine concerning certaine Mathematicall opperations verie proffitable hitherto unknowne and unpublished.' ff. 66-107.
The first proposition, 'To find out consequentlie what reason or proportion the circumference of a circle beareth to the Diameter, or from the saide Diameter to collect and frame a right line equalle to the said circumference.'
Begin: — 'Having in the first book diversly delyvered the manner of invention of two right lynes.'
4. 'The thirde booke of Oruntius Fine touching certaine Mathematicall conclusions very proffitable and necessarye never as yet published: illustrated with diagrams. ff. 108-155.
The first proposition, 'Imprimis to devide any arche of a circle given being lesse than halfe of the circumference into any equall partes whatsoever.'
Begin: — 'That the benefit of this devine proportion may more evidently appeare.'
5. A book intitled, 'Off the composition and framing of all Kinds of Dyalls, whereunto is also added sundrie supplies from other latter writers whereby the descriptions of certayne kynds of diales omitted by the sayd authore are demonstrated with there delyneament,' with a preface and illustrated with diagrams: translated from the Latin treatise of Sebastian Munster, 'De omnium generum horologiorum delineatione, etc. Dat. 14 April. 1653. ff. 156b-262.
The preface begins, 'Among the auncients and men of the first age who lived in plainnesse.'
The book begins, 'The learned publishers of astronomicall discipline have usually devided.'
Printed in Latin, being the latter book of Munsters Rudimenta Mathematica, fol. Basil. 1551, p. 69.
