Signed by ‘Adam, prior of Coldingham / Alexander Lindsay, subprior / Jacob Spenis / Adam Rimsema / William Lurmocht / James Canra / William Hood / William Burne / Jacob Boyd / George Pyln’.
Endorsed: in a 16th-century hand, stained by water, ‘An assignation of the landes of edrom for xix years [text illegible] lady of fast-[text illegible]’.
Affixed with a seal of the convent of Coldingham Priory, lozenge, red, showing the Virgin standing on a corbel and holding the Child in her right arm. Background of foliage, with the legend, ‘sigillum co[m]une monasterii de coldingham’.
