Witnessed by Roger de Beaumont, Bishop of St Andrews (1198–1202); William Longespée, Earl of Salisbury (d. 1226); William d'Aubigny, Earl of Arundel (d. 1221); Hugh de Gournay; Roger de Lacy, Constable of Chester (d. 1211); William I de Cantilupe (d. 1239); Peter de Stoke.
Given by the hands of Simon of Wells, Archdeacon of Wells and Bishop of Chichester (d. 1207), and John de Gray (d. 1214), Archdeacon of Gloucester (1200) and Bishop of Norwich (1200–1214), at Chinon on 26 September, 1 John [1199].
