Bishop Oswald grants a lease of land for three lives at Teddington and Alstone, Gloucestershire, to his kinsman Osulf, the cniht, with reversion first to Eadleofu, his wife (if his children do not survive), and then to two of her brothers, with ultimate reversion to the church of Worcester; dated 969 (Sawyer, no. 1326).
Endorsed by a contemporary hand, ‘Teotintun’; in another contemporary hand, ‘Eadgar cyng.’; in a 14th-century hand, ‘Tedinton’.
