History summarising the information in the preceding roll and carrying the history of the manor of Thornham, co. Kent, down to the end of Henry IV's reign; [early 15th cent.?]. Latin. Described briefly by Larking, op. cit., p. 26, who suggests that it was compiled towards the end of the 15th century. However it seems more likely to have been compiled shortly after the last dated information, circa 1410. It has more of the appearance of a working document than the preceding roll, being in a variety of hands with frequent additions, corrections and erasures. Some of these amend information in the preceding roll. Probably compiled in connection with litigation over the manor of Thornham, temp. Henry V, perhaps as part of a counsel's brief.
