Recites: letters patent of 9 Feb. 1741; indenture of 16 May 1777; deed poll of 1779; indenture of assignment of 4 Dec. 1787; indenture of assignment of 6 June 1789; letters patent 31 Oct. 1792; indenture of assignment of 7 Nov. 1792 to Lamb of Melbourne House, formerly York House. Endorsed with a note that the counterpart contains an assignment to Anthony Hamond and John Holliday for £2,000 to Devon and £1,000 to Melbourne; 3 Aug. 1800. For related correspondence, see Add.
