77236. Declaration of Trust; 23 April 1771. Peniston Lamb, Viscount Melbourne, to Mary Countess Dowager Gower, trustee named in the will of Thomas, Earl of Thanet, for £6,000. For £6,137.15 paid by Mary to Lamb, Lamb to be possessed of certain manors for her benefit which were held as securities for money lent to Lewis Watson Lord Sondes. Endorsed with an assignment to Thomas Hill of Lincoln’s Inn, gent.; 29 March 1776 (4/3).
