This notebook is probably the continuation of notebook 'I' (Add MS 88942/1/348) and contains etymological notes on possible derivations and etymological connections between English, French, German, Italian, Latin and Greek. Talbot also refers to Turkish and Persian and Dutch. In this notebook Talbot also starts taking notes on Assyrian Archaeology and what was later called 'Biblical Archaeology'. Many pages are blank. It possibly continues with 'K' (only marked in pencil) notebook Add MS 88942/1/35. The last entry in this notebook is from May 1858.
