Title in full: 'Statement as to the Title of William Henry Fox Talbot Esquire, to the Manor, Rectory & Abbey of Lacock, and divers Estates in Wilts; and Narrative shewing the comparative situation of that property on 31st July 1800, and February 1821'.
This notebook is a fair copy with a detailed narrative financial history of the Talbot family, commencing 1775, recorded on Lady Days between 1808 and January 1821. It also includes statements of the family’s wills in 1821, when Talbot was a 'tenant in tail' of the Lacock Estate. Includes a brief note in pencil, in Talbot's hand, on the page facing 'Lady Day 1818'.
