- Talbot: Notebook
- Scope & Content:
-
The notebook records the names of guests who attended individual balls, parties and dance/music events, from 1830 to 19th July 1840. Many occasions recorded appear to have been held on the continent (e.g. Nice, 27 November, and 18 December, 1834).
Perforation damage to the first folio obscures the earliest date ('1830' only is visible). With two loose bifoliate sheets (from another, smaller notebook) recording similar information.
