GRANT by William de Belmeis to the Chapter of St Paul's, of the church of St Pancras, for the souls of his uncle Richard de Belmeis, late Bishop of London, his father Robert de Belmeis and himself; circ. 1183. Fragment of seal, differing from that attached to Add. Ch. 1045. A duplicate in the archives of St Paul's (A. 22. 1624, printed by Marion Gibbs, Early Charters of St Paul's, Camden Third Ser., Iviii, 1939, no 69), omits the clause recording the assent of 'G[ilbert Foliotl episcopi secundi'. Other deeds at St Paul's relating to the same transaction (A. 37. 1142, 1143, the latter being dated A.D. 1183) are printed by Marion Gibbs, ibid., nos. 68, 72..
