Lead seal.
Obverse: cruciform invocative monogram with letters in the quarters; wreath border. The monogram is engraved upside down and the letters in the quarter are engraved right-to-left.
Reverse: inscription of 4 lines followed by a decorative element; wreath border. Seal corroded and chipped in the upper part, more than a quarter missing.
Obverse: Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Reverse: … πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ Σικελίας.
Translation: Obverse: Mother of God aid your servant. Reverse: [N.] patrician (patrikios) and general (strategos) of Sicily.
