Lead seal.
Obverse: a patriarchal cross mounted on a base of three steps with acircular inscription along the circumference; concentric borders of dots.
Reverse: inscription of 4 lines beginning with a cross and followed on aseparate line by a cross; border of dots.
Obverse: Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ.
Reverse: Νικήτᾳ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ πρωτονοταρίῳ τῆς Θρᾴκης.
Translation:
Obverse: Lord aid your servant
Reverse: Nicetas first sword-bearer (protospatharios)and first notary (protonotarios) of Thrace.
