Lead seal. On the obverse, circular inscription, in the field jeweled cross flanked by tendrils; border of dots. On the reverse, inscription of 5 lines; border of dots.
Obverse: Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ
Reverse: + Δημητρίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν βαρβάρων
Translation:
Obverse: Lord of God aid your servant.
Reverse: + Demetrius imperial first sword-bearer (protospatharios) and responsible for the foreigners (epi ton barbaron).
