Lead seal. On the obverse, remnants of circular inscription, in the field bust of saint Nicholas, flanked by inscriptions, holding the gospel in the left hand and blessing with the right; border of dots. On the reverse, inscription of 5 lines beginning with a cross, preceded and followed by decorative elements on a separate line; border of dots.
Obverse: Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ
Reverse: + Νικολάῳ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῆς Κεφαλληνίας (?)
Translation:
Obverse: Mother of God aid your servant.
Reverse: + Nicholas first sword-bearer (protospatharios) and governor (strategos) of Cephalonia (?)
