Lead seal.
Obverse: St Theodore standing, nimbate, holding a spear in the right hand and a shield in the left, flanked on both sides by an inscription in columns; border of dots.
Reverse: inscription of 8 lines beginning with a cross; border of dots.
Obverse: Ό ἅγιος Θεώδορος. Reverse: + Κύριε βοήθει Θεοδώρῳ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ ἐπὶ τοῦ Χρυσοτρικλίνου ... τῷ τοῦ ἀσηκρήτου.
Translation:Obverse: Saint Theodore.Reverse: Lord aid Theodore white-garbed sword bearer of the Golden Hall (spatharokandidatos epi tou Chrysotriklinou) ... son of the secretary (asekretis).
