Papers of 1st Lord Holland and Lady Holland relating to financial matters, public and private, including annual accompts, receipts for the purchase of shares and annuities, and banker's orders to Messrs. Hoare and Co. At ff. 103, 105 are copies of Lord Holland's memorial to the Treasury Board, 25 June, and their warrant in reply, 8 July 1767, relating to the settlement of his accompts as Paymaster-General, which are printed in Junius: including letters by the same writers under other signatures, 1812, i, pp. 184-186. Accompt-books of Lord Holland are in the Bury St. Edmunds and West Suffolk Record Office (see L. S. Sutherland and J. Binney, 'Henry Fox as Paymaster General of the Forces', English Historical Review, LXX, 1955, pp. 229-257.
