Foliation: ff 248. Three unfoliated paper flyleaves at the beginning and two at the end.
Dimensions: 298 x 215 mm.
Ruling: 220/230 x 140/150 mm, 2 columns, 27-29 lines per column.
Binding: 18th century binding of diced russian leather.
Decoration: Mutilated illuminated headpiece (f 1).
The manuscript has been damaged by water.

Written on Cyprus in 1319: inscription, f 248v.
Charles-Geneviève-Louis-Auguste-André Timothée d’Éon de Beaumont (b. 1728, d. 1810), chevalier d’Éon: ownership inscription (f 1r). Offered for sale at the first d'Éon sale, Christie's, 5 May 1791, lot 6 (5th cat.) and again at the third, Christie's, 12 Feb. 1813, lot 15, when possibly bought by Burney.
Owned by Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D. D., classical scholar.
Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818.
