Script: Gothic cursive.
Binding: Post-1600. Burney binding of diced brown calf; the joints repaired.

Rev. John Price (b. c.1694 d. 1751): 'Johannes Price A.M. / Rector de Orleston 1727 / Vicarius de Halling. 1729' (f. 85v; cf. f. 106v, dated 1719, and f. 63v, dated 1730); Halling and Orlestone are in Kent.
'[...] 2.2.0' in pencil, second half of the 18th century?, apparently a name and price (f. iii).
John Brand (b. 1744, d. 1806), antiquary and topographer: his book-plate (f. 1v); probably in his sale starting on 6 May 1807, lot 36 among the manuscripts, bought by Burney for £2 16s.
Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar.
Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818.
