Dimensions: 340 x 245 mm.
Ruling: 265 x 165 mm. Leroy 30D1s, 40 lines.
Binding: 18th century, gold tooled russian leather.
Scribes: (ff 1r-312v, 314r-318v) ᾽Ιωάννης Ναθαναήλ (Repertorium 1A, no. 173) and (ff 313r-313v, 319r) ᾽Αναστάσιος Μαλοῦχος (inscription, f 313r; Repertorium 1A, no. 12).

Provenance:
Written largely by ᾽Ιωάννης Ναθαναήλ, known to have been active in Venice, Ancona, and Crete. Watermark is similar to Briquet 485 (Padova 1547).
Richard Mead (b. 1673, d. 1754), physician and collector of books and art: bequeathed by him to Askew.
Anthony Askew (b. 1722, d. 1774), physician and book collector: his sale, 7 March 1785, lot 564, bought by Marsh.
Charles Marsh (b. 1735, d. 1812), F.S.A.: his sale, 1 February 1816, lot 1171, bought by Burney.
Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar.
