Foliation: ff. 90 (preceded and followed by unfoliated paper flyleaves).
Script: Protogothic; rubrics and running headings from f. 61r, the start of the ninth gathering.
Binding: Post-1600. Brown polished calf binding; rebacked in 1962.

Provenance:
The benedictine abbey of Camaldoli, near Poppi in Arezzo province: inscribed ‘Iste e(st) fr(atru)m s(an)c(t)i B(e)n(e)d(ict)i ordi(ni)s [last word erased:] Camaldule(n)sis’ (f. 90v); traces of further erased ownership inscriptions (f. 1r); cf. Egerton MS 3036 and Yates Thompson MS 40, both Camaldolese manuscripts).
Mr White: his sale, 5 December 1814, lot 564, bought by Burney for £1 1s.
Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar.
Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818.
