2 historiated initials, in colours and gold (ff. 1r, 165r), each accompanied by a full border, the second incorporating miniatures in roundels. Large foliate initials in colours and gold. Small initials alternately blue with red flourishing, or red with purple flourishing. Paraphs alternately blue or red.

Augustine of Tortona, bought from Nicholas of Cassia, 30 November 1403: ‘Istud eg(re)gium et solempne opus super evangelium math(e)i editum a R(everendissi)mo p(at)re F(rat)re Augustino de Anchona, sacre theo(logi)e solempnissimo doctore, et opus eiusd(em) super ep(isto)las cano(n)icas, Ego mag(ist)ror(um) mi(ni)mus frat(er) Augustinus de T(er)dona [T(or)dona?] ordinis he(remitarum) Sancti Aug(ustini), Emi a R(everendissi)mo p(at)re g(e)n(era)li magistro Nicholao de Cassia, eiusd(em) ordinis. In Nursia Anno d(omi)ni Mo.CCCCo.iiio. die ultima Novembr(is).’ (f. 228v).
Unidentified owner, 1757: ‘Hic Nicolaus de Cassia electus fuit in supremum Augustinensium praesulem Aquil(a)e, an. M.CCCC. Haec notat Magister F.(? Frater?) Gabriel M(?)a.(?)L(?)aget(?) hac die ix. Julj [sic] M.D.CCLVIj.’ (f. 228v); and ‘B. 2. [followed by a symbol like a horizontal 's']’ (f. iv recto).
