Binding: Early 19th century binding of brown calf.
Scribe: Ἰωάννης Σαγκταμαύρας (Repertorium 1A, no. 179).

Julius Caesar, son of the scribe: given by him 'in foliis solutis' to an unnamed person 7 Jan. 1585 (inscription, f 91v).
Purchased by Burney at an anonymous sale of manuscripts 'not long since collected in Italy', Christie's, 19 May 1803, lot 45.
Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar: in his collection by 1812.
Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818.
