Dimensions: 140 x 95 mm.
Ruling: 95 x 65 mm (ff 4r-123r), 90 x 65 mm (ff 124r-135v). 15 lines (ff 4r-123r), 26 lines (ff 124r-135v).
Collation: Greek signatures throughout the volume.
Binding: 18th century binding of gold tooled brown leather with the arms of Michael Wodhull stamped in gold on the upper cover. Gilt fore-edges.

Probably created in Northern Italy in the late 1480s: watermarks are similar to those known from Genoa in 1483 and Udine in 1487
Marginal Latin notes in the same 17th century hand as those in Burney 276, ff 29r-40v.
Johannes Bosch, owned in 1675: his ownership inscription, f 4r.
Anthony Askew (bap. 1722, d. 1774), physician and book collector: his sale, Leigh and Sotheby's, 7 March 1785, lot 456, where it was purchased by Michael Wodhull.
Michael Wodhull (b. 1740, d. 1816), book collector and poet: his sale, Leigh and Sotheby's, 3 March 1801, lot 242, where it was purchased by Burney.
Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar.
Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818.
