Ruling: 150 x 90 mm. Leroy D 32D1, 26 lines (ff 1r-137v, 145r-167r, 170r-175v, 186r-291r, 292r-298r, 307r-314v), 31-32 lines (ff 138r-144v, 176r-185v), 30 lines (ff 299r-306v, 315r-328r), circa 40-44 lines (ff 167v-168v, 291v). Written in one column, except ff 167v-168v, 291v.
Binding: British Museum, 1962.
Decoration: Coloured headpiece with zoomorphic and anthropomorphic features, f 170r.
Scribe: Δημήτριος Ραοὺλ Καβάκης (Repertorium 1A, no. 95) (ff 138r-144v, 177r-178v); formerly erroneously ascribed to Ἰωάσαφ (Repertorium 1A, no. 209e).

Provenance:
? Cardinal Giovanni Salviati (b. 1490, d. 1553): probably no. 99 in his 1546 catalogue (see Cataldi Palau 1995 no. 77).
Charles Townley (b. 1737, d. 1805), collector of antiquities, acquired in Rome in 1773 together with several other former Salviati manuscripts (including Burney 86, 109, 408, and Additional 5423).
John Towneley (bap. 1697, d. 1782), translator, Charles Townley's great-nephew: his sale, 8 June 1814, lot 886, bought by Burney for £44.
Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar.
Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818.
