Completed at Florence by Μᾶρκος Μουσοῦρος (subscription, f 143v; signed verses, f 144r; Repertorium 1A, no. 265). Written between 1492 and 1494/95, according to Speranzi 2010, p. 191.

Benedictine Abbey of San Pietro, Perugia: 16th century inscription, 'Miserere mei deus', f 1r; 17th century ownership inscription, 'Est Monasterii S. Petri de Perusio', f 203v; cf. Hoffmann 1983, p. 105 n. 55. Catalogued in the manuscript list of manuscripts of the Biblioteca Pubblica, Perugia, compiled by G. B. Vermiglioli in 1810 (Battelli 1967).

Possibly acquired by Burney at the same time as Burney 88 and 164, two further manuscripts from San Pietro.

Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar.

Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818.
