Foliation: ff. iii + 104 (ff. i-iii, 101-104 are flyleaves). Burney pagination 1-199.
Collation: i-x10 (ff. 1-100). Vertical catchwords (Derolez type 5).
Script: Written 'above top line' in humanistic script; spaces for rubrics and large initials; the text on the last page written in an inverted pyramid shape.
Binding: Post-1600. Early 19th-century binding of polished calf.

Inscribed, 16th- or 17th century, ‘.s. Francisci Cenetę’ (f. 1r, lower margin, and either side of the text; Ceneda is in the province of Treviso).
Inscribed, 17th century(?),‘P.79’ and ‘P.’ (f. 1r, upper left and upper right margin).
Perhaps sold by Leigh and Sotheby, 5 May 1808, lot 1820, bought by Burney for 11s.
Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar.
Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818.
