Lucan, De Bello Civili (ff. 1r-140r); preceded by a four-line epitaph of Lucan, inc. Corduba me genuit rapuit Nero pręlia dixi (see Munk Olsen 1985, p. 21, no. 45b).
Decoration:
Decorated with a partial foliate border, incorporating an empty wreath for an escutcheon (f. 1r, lower margin); each book with a three-line gold initial on a ground of blue and green, or burgundy and olive green, with yellow/gold ornament.
Headings and running titles in pale red.

Foliation: ff. v + 145 (ff. i-v, 141-145 are flyleaves). Burney pagination 1-279.
Collation: i-xiv10 (ff. 1-140). Vertical catchwords. Leaf signatures.
Script: Humanistic, written 'above top line' by the same scribe as Baltimore, Walters Art Museum, W. 384, and perhaps also Vatican, Vat. Lat. 1789 ff. 106-107, according to unpublished notes of A. C. de la Mare in the Bodleian Library.
Binding: Post-1600. Burney binding of polished calf; the edges gauffered and gilt; rebacked in 1962.
