Decoration:
1 large initial (excised) (f. 1r), with a three-sided border incorporating a hybrid creature and a bird, in colours and gold, at the beginning of the first comedy. Large initials in blue with flourishing predominantly in red, or vice versa, to each subsequent comedy. Small initials alternately plain red or blue.
