Originally the second half of a single volume bound with Burney MS 278.
Decoration:
6 historiated initials (ff. 1r, 122r, 156v, 167r, 277r, 307r) in colours and gold. Large initials in colours and gold, sometimes with animal heads, and 2 red and blue puzzle initials. Small red initials with blue pen-flourishing alternating with red initials with blue pen-flourishing. Some books with incipits of alternating blue and red letters and penwork decoration.
