Materials: Parchment.
Dimensions: 215 x 155 mm (text space 155 x 95 mm in two columns with intercolumnium of 10 mm).
Foliation: ff. vi + 40 (where ff. i-vi and 27-39 are modern paper flyleaves and f. 40 is a pastedown with Burney's list of contents).
Script: Gothic with marginal notes in Gothic cursive (Anglicana).
The scribe and the annotator appear to be the same as those for Burney 286, which also has 6-line rectangular spaces left for initials and a similar size script and mise-en-page; therefore, these two manuscripts may have been part of the same volume.
Binding: Post-1600. Typical Burney binding of tooled brown calf.
