Script: Gothic cursive in main text. Another later cursive hand in table of contents (ff. 2-4v; 244v-245v).

William Lambarde (b. 1536, d. 1601), antiquarian, legal historian and politician. Cf. his name on f. 1 and 2: "W. Lambarde 1566")
Thomas Lambarde b. 1615, d. 1675), William's grandson, cf. his name on f. 1v: "Thomas Lambarde 1638 20th December 1659".
