Foliation: ff. ii + 160 (ff. i, 1, 1*, and 158-160 are paper flyleaves; f. 157 parchment, possibly part of the gathering structure)Script: Gothic cursive (Bastarda).
Binding: Post-1600. Red morocco with border of gold stamped flowers; gilt edges; marbled end papers.

Unidentified reader, 13th century(?) : inscribed with a date(?) '1285' (ff. 5, 157).
Inscribed '1300' (f. 6).
The Chartreuse de Notre Dame, Pierre-Chatel in the diocese of Belley, Ain, with a loan inscription dated 1453 (f. 157).
Note of rebinding at Castres, May 1658 (f. 157), perhaps relating to the library there formed by Jacques d'Armagnac, duc de Nemours.
Count Justin de MacCarthy-Reagh (b. 1744, d. 1811): his sale, 18 May 1789 lot 1567; bought by Chapman for 12s. 6d.
