Various Surveys principally of the Estuary below Kulpee, to illustrate remarkable changes in the channels of approach from seaward. Composite atlas, [c.1840-c.1890].

Table of contents, headed 'General Index', with spaces for 190 items, some left blank: the numbers correspond to guards in the atlas, of which some were left empty and others bear traces of charts subsequently removed. Note by Barlow: 'There are altogether in this Portfolio about 115 plans of various portions of the lower Estuary of the Hooghly – some of the "Surveys" of early date are merely eye sketches – but since Capt. Lloyd's Surveys of 1836/37 all the work has been trigonometrically carried out ...'. This atlas elsewhere described by Barlow as 'my old Portfolio'.
