A letter from Savaram Pandi to an unnamed person acknowledging receipt of a letter, and saying that the Pandit's previous letter to his correspondent had probably not been received. The letters also refer to the happy marriage ceremonies of someone's two daughters, and adds that the writer will stay for some time at the place from which he is writing, and then resume his journey. The following persons are mentioned by name: Mr Chamber [Chalmers, Chambers?], Jagannath Mitu, Muhammad, Mr John Hastur [Hester ? Aster ?]. The Pandit concludes his letter with the promise that he will report the conversation which he had with Maharaj Bahadur when he meets his correspondent.
