- Title:
- ‘1900. THE LORD CURZON OF KEDLESTON. CORRESPONDENCE WITH SECRETARY OF STATE, LORD SALISBURY, & SIR A. GODLEY.’
- Scope & Content:
-
The volume consists of printed copies of letters to and from Lord Curzon, Viceroy of India, dated 4 January to 27 December 1900. The correspondence is mainly between Curzon and Lord George Hamilton, Secretary of State for India. It also includes correspondence between Curzon and Sir Arthur Godley, Permanent Under Secretary of State for India, and a few items of correspondence between Curzon and the Marquess of Salisbury, British Prime Minister. The letters were printed by the press of the Private Secretary to the Viceroy.
