Half-leather and green cloth bound album, measuring 280 mm x 375 mm, and containing 84 albumen prints mounted one or two to a page, with handwritten captions beneath each photograph. The photographs are of Gilgit and places on the Gilgit Road from Kashmir, probably dating from a military expedition. Includes groups of British officers and native cavalry, Kashmiri villagers, and Raja Sikander Khan [ruler of Nagar from 1904]. Also manuscript list of soldiers who distinguished themselves on the Hunza, Nagar and Chilas campaigns.
