Green half-leather bound volume measuring 196 x 247 mm, containing 46 photographic prints and engravings inserted in corner slits, the majority captioned in pencil. Prints relating to India are 2-11 and 20-23. These are all small format photographs, taken by Samuel Bourne in 1863-64, of Simla, Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir. The remaining material is not of Indian relevance, comprising a view of Furness Abbey (print 1), a series of views on the Thames (12-19), miscellaneous photographs of English church architecture and engravings of Greece, Italy, Germany and the Holy Land (24-46).
