1. ff. 1-103. Diary, etc.; 8 Feb. 1784-1791. Extracts (f. 7 in Lady Holland's hand), watermark 1821, from the manuscript edited by Mrs Henry Baring as The Diary of the Right Hon. William Windham 1784 to 1810 (London, 1866). Preceded (ff. 1-6v) by the Preface by George Ellis, beg. 'The reader will have more frequent occasion to remark ...' (Baring, pp. xvi etc.) and followed by:- (a) ff. 86v-97. Notes on arithmetic (Baring, pp. xxiv-xxxvi), and (b) ff. 97v-103 'Memorabilia', partly Greek and Latin, of which only the section in English (ff. 99v-103) is published by Baring (pp. xxxvi-xl). Other diaries of Windham are Add MSS 37921-37926.
