The leather case housing this volume was originally padded out with two newspapers: the Globe and Traveller for 15th February 1882 and the Kingston and Richmond Express for 26th January 1889. The former has been preserved separately, but the latter, being in extremely poor condition, has been disposed of. (The existing holdings of both newspapers can be consulted in the Newsroom, the Globe under shelfmark MFM.MLD27 and the Kingston Express under NEWS7458 or MFM.M30380.)
