Miscellaneous commonplaces, mostly copies of poems, some of which are repeated in other volumes, viz.:-
(1) 'Sonnet on the Portrait of the Poet Cowper at Panshanger, 1823', of which an amended version is in Add MS 51987, f. 41. (This copy is on paper watermarked 1832). f. 16.
(2) Two copies of the impromptu to Augustus Callcott by William Sotheby, 1833, (also in Add. MSS. 51962, f. 6, and 51987, f. 55). f. 19.
(3) An epigram by Joseph Jekyll on an accident to Lady Salisbury in Dec 1833, (also in Add. MS. 51987, f. 55b). f. 21.
(4) A copy by Caroline Fox of a letter, [1 Sep 1799], from Charles James Fox to his wife, Elizabeth, after an accident to his hand, also in Add. MS. 51513: this copy is on paper watermarked 1833. f. 23.
(5) A poem by Mary Russell Mitford on a bust of Charles James Fox, of which a printed version is pasted in Add. MS. 51515, f. ib, and another copy is in Add. MS. 51958, f. 1: this copy is on paper watermarked 1833. f. 25.
(6) A copy by Caroline Fox of a poem in the form of a letter from Henry, 3rd Baron Holland, to Thomas Moore, 3 Sep 1837, (also in Add. MS. 51908). f. 38.
(7) A poem by Miss Mackenzie, 'A Farewell to Departed friends', written on 18 Apr 1827 and given to Caroline Fox circa Dec 1838, (also in Add. MS. 51989, f. 13). f. 39.
(8) An epigram, probably by Henry, 3rd Baron Holland, on Henry, 1st Baron Brougham, undated (also in Add. MS. 51908). f. 72.
(9) A translation by Henry, 3rd Baron Holland, of 'Placidifeon', from Dodridge (sic), undated (a variant being in Add, MS. 51911). f. 73.
(10) Words of a song by Miss Greville, undated, (also in Add. MS. 51515, f. 48b). f. 74.
